Our Wedding décor could not have been more perfect! Everybody that I have seen since the Wedding has complemented me on the décor, the décor-styling and the ambience of the Wedding - that is only due to your hard work and efficiency in having the venue ready as it was and way before time. Being in the Wedding industry myself, I know how difficult and tricky it can be doing centrepieces without flowers, and to tell you the truth, family and friends were worried about my choice of having flowerless centrepieces – BUT they were SO IMPRESSED because you made it look so beautiful and elegant that they couldn’t believe such a beautiful impact it had even though I didn’t use flowers. SO BRAVO!! For me it was important that the venue was ready way before the wedding was due to start so the photographers could take pictures of the venue untouched!
Well done! I would also like to thank you for having done the mock-trials until you were happy that I was happy. That showed me that you are meticulous in what you do, it also shows that you have a passion for what you do and that is important as I believe it always reflected in your work!

Formerly known as SB Wedding Consultants and Co-ordinators, we have relaunched the company as White Orchid Events and Design. As the changes in White Orchid Events and Design are implemented, we guarantee that the same dedication, ethics and passion will still drive us in our mission to make each and every wedding a special and unforgettable occasion.

We liaise with a wide range of wedding industry professionals who are just as passionate about your wedding as we are.

Planning your own wedding can be a highly stressful event – especially if you lead a busy lifestyle or have a large family as there is always a risk of unforeseen family politics which may arise during the planning phase. It is easier to let somebody else deal with these issues tactfully. Your wedding day should be a memory that you carry with you for the rest of your life, so why not let us do the stressing for you and plan your dream wedding. Background & General Information

SB Wedding Consultants & Co-ordinators was established near Randburg on Gauteng's West Rand in 2008 by myself, Sharon Bennett. In celebration of all the exciting things that 2012 promises, we have relaunched under the name White Orchid Events and Design. A whole new era in weddings is dawning and we are proud to be part of it.

After planning my own wedding between 2006 and 2007, I realised that I had enjoyed the whole process so much that it awakened the entrepreneur in me. With a flair for the creative and being a natural people person (two vital skills for a wedding planner), I went on to study Wedding Planning as a career and thus started the ball rolling in the development of a career that I felt I was born to do.
